Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a bit of a smell when being cleaned, but the rooms looked gorgeous. It was quite noisy due to the bar/restaurant below. The service staff were very pleasant and helpful, though sometimes scarce. The location was perfect for attending a funeral but not right in the center of Knaresborough. The dining experience was decent with a good variety of options. The hotel lacked some selection for breads, meats, and cheeses at meals.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms and friendly service. While the noisy environment from the hallway can be a downside, the convenient location near the station and town center adds value to the stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The beautifully decorated Christmas rooms across the dining area created a cozy atmosphere. However, the initial unpleasant stale smell in my room dampened my arrival experience at 6 pm.
